It was the early 80's when I walked through a bookstore looking for titles on Dreaming. The word jumped out at me from the cover of a book called "Dreamwalker, by Mary Summer Rain. As I began to read through the pages I realized the book was about much more than "dreaming". She had my attention…and kept it. I read it in one sitting. I distinctly remember thinking I had found something that resonated with every cell in my body. It was the beginning of a new path. I left the path of searching for the truth. I stepped upon the new path of The Truth. I began to read everything she had written. At some point early on I felt like everything I had been taught was a lie. The proverbial rug had been ripped out from beneath me. It was a conundrum of emotions. I was elated and angry all at the same time.
To date, she has written 35 books. With her first book, Spirit Song, she introduced us to a Chippewa Visionary and Shaman, No-Eyes. Mary spent the next few years under the guidance and education of No-Eyes. All the while, Mary Summer Rain recorded her lessons in a handwritten journal at the kitchen table in the dark, with only the light of a old fashioned oil lamp. No-Eyes wanted her to publish a book containing what she was being taught. Mary kept her promise and now
My life changed that day. Summer Rain's books were the foundation of a new path seated in Truth. She is quick to tell us not to take her word for it, for us to always use our own discernment in what we take in as Truth. It is a point well taken. And how do we do that? My answer to the question is this: It is by way of The Knowing that we recognize the Truth. And, The Knowing, as I understand it, is a body of Universal Knowledge… The Collective… and it is available to anyone who seeks it.
Mary Summer Rain's books are all available online from Resellers and Amazon.com
"The Sleeping Prophet" - Cayce's work was one of the first I began to study all those years ago. His work was suggested to me as Truthful and connected to Source. I found that to be true in all regards. He had a powerful connection to Source and it was always evident in his readings. All of his readings are available through the website https://www.edgarcayce.org/.
After his death in 1945 his family and supporters made sure to preserve his work and open the nonprofit Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), which is still in existence today. It was Cayce's dream to open a Holistic Hospital which did happen. It was not able to survive the Great Depression and he had to close it. The headquarters today are in the same location as the hospital had been. It is a thriving community and a source of education in "meditation, intuition, dream interpretation, prayer, holistic health, ancient mysteries, and philosophical concepts, such as karma, reincarnation, and the meaning of life." All of this in one place. Imagine! Some, if not most, of it is available without membership.
It is a reference source for me to this day. I strongly feel that you can trust this material and I highly recommend it.
I do not know what I could possibly say about this man that would be enough. His work has been a guiding light for me for a very long time. He was a humble compassionate man. His incredible wisdom will leave you speechless. There are 84 of his books and collections. I would not know where to tell you to start. This is the introduction to his website which can be found at the link at the bottom of this article.
"The site guarantees the authenticity of a large text collection of many of Krishnamurti’s published works between 1933 and 1986, together with several hundred transcripts of audio & video recordings, the equivalent of 200 average-sized books. The site content is fully searchable.
A selection of video and audio is freely available in streaming format. Future plans include adding previously unpublished work to the online text collection, and expanding the video & audio content.
After Krishnamurti left the Theosophical Society, he began to travel extensively giving public talks and holding discussions in many places around the world, from major cities like London, Paris, Bombay and New York, to small towns in India. Many of these were published as Verbatim Reports, from July 1933 until 1967. In 1992 the Krishnamurti Foundation of America compiled these texts in 17 volumes and republished them under the title The Collected Works of J. Krishnamurti. These texts are also included in this site."
This is such a lovely site. It reads like a good novel, drawing you into every page. It is one man's journey of Awakening and you will find a steadfast Wisdom with his eloquent words.
It is a French website and easily translated with a web translator. It is well worth the effort.
Next is his introduction to the site.
"The world around us is curious, it constantly challenges us. A wonderful teacher but also a fragile setting, it is a door that takes us further, to discover ourselves if we pay attention to it. The unique world, dogma transmitted in our childhood, then becomes multiple and reveals its mysteries, step by step, to the patient and tenacious Traveler.
Here you will find the synthesis of Knowledge and events that transformed who I was into a traveller of the Inter-Worlds, who sees his environment transform as he drops his own masks and continues the unfolding of his experience, carried by the Attention to the Wind of Change.
.... more really from here and not yet for that matter ....
